Anaemia is the decrease in number of red blood cells (RBCs) or less than the normal quantity of hemoglobin in the blood. The very common symptoms of anaemia include Fatigue,dizziness,weakness,shortness of breath,fainting or passing out,light headedness,rapid heart rate,looking pale, and others. There are several home remedies for anaemia which can treat it well if included in our daily routine. Some of them are as follows:
Vegetables rich in folic acid such as beetroot and those rich in vitamin c such as citrus fruits like orange and sweet lime should be consumed. Also eat a lot of green and leafy vegetables such as fenugreek and spinach.
Celery is an excellent home remedy for anaemia as it is a rich source of dietary iron. It can also be consumed along with carrot jiuce.
Tea and coffee intake should be strictly avoided as it restricts the iron absorption.
Iron utensils should be used for cooking as it increases the amount of iron in your meal.
Consumption of foods rich in vitamin B12 like red meat,liver,eggs,cheese,soya also increases the amount of red blood cells in the body.

Four dried figs a day are also a cure for anaemia.
